Nova Scotia Time

Hey there! We are in Nova Scotia! It is beautiful here. In a way it's very similar to Newfoundland, but in a way quite different.

On Monday morning we took a 6 hour ferry to Nova Scotia. It was lots of fun!

Our boat, the Highlander

We spent lots of the time playing card games
After the ferry we got off and headed to St. Anne's for a delicious dinner, a restaurant right on the water!

We stayed the night in Ingonish at the Driftwood Lodge. It was a really pretty spot with great accommodations! The lodge was right on the water.

Out on our deck having breakfast

I think this picture speaks for itself
After breakfast, we set of for Halifax. We made quite a few stops in the Cape Breton Highland Park. It was very beautiful!
Looking for whales...we might have seen a tale

One of the stunning glimpses of Nova Scotia in Autumn

Really, just gorgeous

We stopped at a few different spots along the way trying to spot whales. We didn't see any, but the places we stopped at were very beautiful!

Lobster traps

We of course had to stop at McDonalds for a McLobster!

When we arrived in Halifax we went to The Olde Triangle, an Irish pub. It was such a great place
with live music! Could've spent a long time there.

So far, it has been a great couple of days in Nova Scotia. Tomorrow we will be touring around Halifax. Can't wait to soak in all the history!
